How the aim trainer works

  1. Pick a target size: Large to warm up, Medium for a normal round, or Small for a real challenge.
  2. Click the target in the middle of the panel to start. The 30-second round begins straight away.
  3. A target appears at a random spot. Hit it and the next one appears somewhere else. Clicking empty space counts as a miss.
  4. At the end you see your hits, your average hit time and your accuracy. Your best score for each size is saved on this device.

It works with a mouse, a touchpad, a pen or a touchscreen.

What the numbers mean

Tips to improve your aim

Does it help in games?

Flick aiming at targets that pop up somewhere new is a key skill in shooters and many other games. A browser aim trainer won't copy every game exactly, because sensitivity and field of view differ, but it trains the same basic hand–eye coordination. Compare your scores over time on the same device and settings to see real progress. To check the mouse itself, try the mouse test and the CPS test.

Questions and answers

What is a good aim trainer score?

On Medium targets, around 40 to 50 hits in 30 seconds with 90% accuracy is solid. Experienced players often score 60 or more.

Does missing lower my score?

Misses don't take hits away, but they lower your accuracy. Aim for a high score and high accuracy together.

Can I use the aim trainer on a phone?

Yes. Tap the targets instead of clicking. Touch scores aren't comparable with mouse scores, so compare like with like.

Is my best score saved?

Yes, your best number of hits for each target size is saved in this browser on this device only.

Why do my results change between devices?

Your mouse sensitivity, screen size and refresh rate all change how targets feel. Use the same setup when you compare results.
